The story behind this set

The bichon frise in this set has the luscious white coat the breed is famous for, in a pile long enough to need the pink comb that comes in the box.

How it plays

A long-coated pup gives grooming play somewhere to go. Comb the body, comb the head, put the animal back in the bag — the loop runs on its own without an adult inventing the next step.

The doggy bag is a lot bigger than I anticipated.
The gift was for my five-year-old granddaughter for one of her Christmas gifts. The bag / purse it's big enough to put another stuffed animal in there as well. And it's really pretty very well put together.

Good to know about this shelf

Every Pucci Pups carrier bag here is decorated rather than plain — golden dots, florals, hearts, leopard spots, zigzags — and the pink ones still leave first. Inside is a plush puppy you can name: a cocker spaniel, a pug, a Maltese, a bichon frise, each one a stuffed animal sturdy enough to stand on its own.

The accessories stay small and real: a comb, a bottle, a bowl. No collar is in the box, because the handle is the part that travels. Age marks start at 2 or 3 years, and an adorable toy like this turns into a gift children keep for years — a friend they love, carried wherever the day goes, with a vet care set to add later for pretend play.
