Keeping a Pucci Pups plush puppy and its carrier bag toy clean
A stuffed animal that travels gets dirty. Here is the whole routine, which takes about ten minutes and should happen roughly once a year.
Empty the bag first
Unzip the mesh front, take the puppy out, and tip the accessories onto a towel. Combs, bowls, bottles and chew toys all wash in warm soapy water and dry in minutes. Doing this first means you are not fishing a comb out of a wet bag later.
Spot clean, do not soak
Use a damp cloth and a little mild soap on the marks, working from the outside of the stain inwards. Neither the animal nor the carrier should go in a washing machine — the stitching on the handles and the mesh panel are the parts that fail first. Press the water out with a dry towel instead of wringing, which is what flattens a plush coat permanently.
Dry flat, away from heat
Lay the pup on its side on a towel somewhere with moving air and leave it overnight. A radiator will dry it faster and leave the fur stiff. Once it is dry, a few passes with the comb from the box puts the coat back the way it was.
Then put everything back in the bag
This is the part that keeps a set complete for years. The accessories live in the carrier, not in a toy box, and the habit is easy to teach because the bag is already the thing the child carries. A set that still has its comb two years later is almost always a set that was packed away this way.
Good to know about this shelf
Every Pucci Pups carrier bag here is decorated rather than plain — golden dots, florals, hearts, leopard spots, zigzags — and the pink ones still leave first. Inside is a plush puppy you can name: a cocker spaniel, a pug, a Maltese, a bichon frise, each one a stuffed animal sturdy enough to stand on its own.
The accessories stay small and real: a comb, a bottle, a bowl. No collar is in the box, because the handle is the part that travels. Age marks start at 2 or 3 years, and an adorable toy like this turns into a gift children keep for years — a friend they love, carried wherever the day goes, with a vet care set to add later for pretend play.
